HELLO! My name is Kaitlyn Hunter and I'm currently a Senior studying journalism at auburn university.
I began working with Auburn athletic's live production staff as an audio engineer for secn and espn broadcasts. from august 2022 to April 2023, I worked with both our Creative production department and our live production department. after traveling with a team for the first time, I discovered I have a passion for the human connection that is built within a team and decided to focus on creative production.
I spent a year as a student secondary to all of our sports. I covered events for each sport at auburn, edited social media videos, shot and edited in venue video board features, edited a player profile for war eagle+, shot, directed and edited intro videos, built elaborate sets, and traveled with teams.
During my final year with Auburn Athletics, I served as the lead video producer for the equestrian team. in this role, I directed all video production for this team from interviews, coordinating with second shooters for events, editing social media content, travel, post season, and videoboard content.
This summer, I interned with focus on the family and have discovered a calling for working with non-profits and ministries. The lord made celar his calling on my vocation to serve him with my technical skills whether that be directly throught videos sharing the gospel or if that's through being a light in any role I fill.
